It’s time to replace Virginia Foxx in NC-05

She’s ranked 399th, making her one of the most ineffective members of the United States Congress.

And she’s our Representative.  Which means that she’s practically unable to do anything to help Northwest North Carolina grow in the ways that are so important at this time in the life of our district.

The US Constitution lets us replace members of the US House of Representatives every two years.  That body is unlike the Presidency or the Senate in that the founding fathers saw fit that the House be especially responsive to the voters it represents.  A Congressional district need not suffer with an embarrassing, ineffectual representative for long; just vote ‘em out and replace them with another willing member of the community.

We believe that North Carolina’s 5th District has a great replacement for Virginia Foxx in Roy Carter.  For 40 years, Roy Carter taught Agriculture and Sciences in our public High Schools, as well as coaching football.  He’s been an important part of so many families lives as a teacher and coach, and he’s learned so much about what regular folks need to live safe, happy lives.

We need jobs and the security that comes from living in peaceful, prosperous towns and cities; North Carolina communities where traditions are honored and every member is given the opportunity to reach his greatest potential.

We hope you’ll vote for Roy Carter for Congress, but whatever you do: don’t return Virginia Foxx to her old seat in the US House of Representatives!

She’s had her turn.  Time to move on, Mrs. Foxx.
